The Global Pulse Confederation (GPC) recently celebrated its yearly congress in New Delhi. During the event, the organization announced the winners of the sustainability and innovation awards. Ebro Ingredients, represented by Graham Carter, GM of Ebro India, received the 2024 Innovation award.
The jury decided to give Ebro Ingredients the prestigious Innovation Award for the development of its pregel pea starch concentrate, PisumGEL YP12, a breakthrough solution that promises an economical, clean-label, sustainable solution for extending and filling processed meats. “This award recognizes a company that puts innovation at the heart of everything it does. In doing so, it sets an example for our industry and paves the way for a more sustainable future,” said Vijay Iyengar, President of GPC.
